My camera numbers every frame on one counter that never resets. Sort the buildings by the first frame I shot at each one and you get the order I photographed them in. A new run starts where the sequence jumps more than 700 miles between two buildings (a flight) or where it leaves or comes back to the New York area.
The order I shot the buildings in, and which ones I shot on the same run. Two checks line up with my own trips: Alaska's frame sits inside the Washington run, and Arizona and New Mexico form one tight block.
Dates, nights or exact roads. Runs are not my numbered trips. Short shoots near home show up as their own runs, and a run can still hold two trips where one ended and the next began without a flight or a stop at home. Lines are straight between towns.
